FEBRUARY 10 Life Gems *YOU ARE ON A JOURNEY* *Spotlight* : Isaiah 43 verse 2 – When you pass through the waters, I will be with you; And through the rivers, they shall not overflow you. When you walk through the fire, you shall not be burned, Nor shall the flame scorch you. Life is in phases and in life you will keep moving from one season to the other. Plan yourself and set your mind that you are on a long journey so that you don’t allow yourself to be bugged down because of a particular present circumstance. Pay attention to your faith so that your faith can come relevant at any time. Don’t train yourself to only believe when it is rosy or only at difficult times. Have a depth of faith so that even when the things are not tying up, you can look at the word of God and have a true foundation of your faith. Our faith goes through fire – fire of hardship (economic or environmental). Any season God allows, it means it’s not the end and you are to hold on to your faith and to God knowing that whatever you are doing with God is not as a reason of external comfortability. If you understand that you are on a long life journey, you patiently follow God who will lead you through to the end. It is in God that we have a guarantee of making it to the end. Your goal is to survive and thrive now no matter the circumstance or season and eventually make it to the end.
