FEBRUARY 15 Life Gems *MAXIMIZE WHAT GOD HAS GIVEN YOU* *Spotlight* : Luke 19 verse 13 –So he called ten of his servants, delivered to them ten minas, and said to them, ‘Do business till I come.’ God is a good God who gives everyone He has created something to work with. He liberally deposited abilities to everyone whether the person believes in Him or not. If God could deposit an ability in one who doesn’t even believe in Him, how much more you who believe in Him and have Him as your Father? God has deposited some things (abilities, talents, skills, gifts) in you and He expects you to work with them and make profit. Whatever God has given you, don’t allow it to lie dormant, rather, use them to produce results. Don’t keep them inactive like the servant who hid his talent in the earth(Matthew 25:18). The least God has deposited in you is one. Start from that one and make profit with it. That one when maximized is enough to take you to a place of prominence and influence. Do a personal assessment, you will see that God has deposited some things in you. All areas of your life can run concurrently – spiritual, career, financial, physical and mental development. Have a mind to be all that God wants you to be and be diligent. If you want to be relevant in any field or area of your life, you MUST be diligent. Spiritual diligence will push you to the top when it comes to ministry and spiritual matters. Diligence at work will push you to the top in the work place. Diligence at your studies will make you a leader when it comes to knowledge.
