FEBRUARY 23 Life Gems *SEEK FOR ANSWERS FROM GOD* *Spotlight* : Jeremiah 33 verse 3 – ‘Call to Me, and I will answer you, and show you great and mighty things, which you do not know.’ In God’s dealings with man, He allows man to ask Him questions to clarify issues in his mind. If God says something, you can ask Him who, when, what, why and how and He will answer you peacefully as long as you do so from a humble heart. It is only believers who push to know more with questions get access to answers. In order words, if you don’t ask questions, don’t expect answers. If you are confused about something as you walk with God, don’t assume you know what God meant or has in mind. Simply ask Him and He will answer you. Do you remember Rebecca? After Isaac entreated God on her behalf and she became pregnant, when the pregnancy was troublesome for her (Gen. 25:22) she went to inquire of God. It was then that God told her that two nations were in her womb. You will be limited in your knowledge of what is happening in your life if you don’t ask God questions. If you notice your life is in a stand-still, don’t say ‘one day things will be better’, rather go and ask God why. If you are following God from a pure heart, He will let you know or understand what is going on and a way out of the situation. God does not only diagnose the problem, He gives the solution as well. Don’t seek for answers from the devil, as long as you are a child of God, go to God in prayers and tell Him to give you answers to the questions of your heart. God is more glad that you come to Him directly rather than going through another man.
