FEBRUARY 24 Life Gems *GOD WANTS YOUR ATTENTION* *Spotlight* : Exodus 3 verse 4 – So when the Lord saw that he turned aside to look, God called to him from the midst of the bush and said, “Moses, Moses!” And he said, “Here I am.” There are many things struggling to win the attention of a man knowing that once a man’s attention is grabbed everything the man has can be given for that thing. This explains why a company will use seductive pictures just to draw men’s attention to check out their product. Of course there is no basis using seduction to gain customers. God also wants a man’s attention not to get what the man has but to give the man what he doesn’t have and achieve His good plan. Isn’t that so loving of God? God most times will use things to call your attention to cease from busyness and know what He wants to tell you. Most times, God won’t speak until He has gotten your attention. It was until Moses turned aside to the great sight of the burning bush(Exodus 3:4) that God spoke. Personally set times that you retreat from busyness and seek God’s face on a daily basis. You can have a time of the week, a time of the month and a time of the year that you do so. Make it a lifestyle to pay attention to God. God needs your attention more than whatever you want to get and bring to God. Man may appreciate your money with or without your attention but not so with God. It is only when you come to God with full attention that He can show you great and mighty things you don’t know.
