FEBRUARY 25 Life Gems *STOP LOOKING AT YOURSELF* *Spotlight* : Exodus 3 verse 11 – But Moses said to God, “Who am I that I should go to Pharaoh, and that I should bring the children of Israel out of Egypt?” When a man considers his little state in the face of a challenge, he can lose heart. Man on his own capacity and ability is no match to the devil or his human agents. But man backed by God can’t be stopped by the devil or his agents. When God said to Moses ‘I will send you to Pharaoh’, He was implying that it is no longer Moses going in his ability and capacity as Moses but in God’s capacity and ability. From Moses’ response, it didn’t appear as though Moses understood the weight of God’s statement and was still looking at himself as inadequate. Has God called you to do anything for Him? Stop considering yourself as inadequate to the extent that you don’t take a step to do it. You can look at yourself as inadequate and surrender to God for His grace to be manifested through you but never as what will limit you from doing what God says you should do. Considering oneself as inadequate most times tends towards men giving several excuses. Look at the Almightyness and greatness of God who is sending you on that assignment not the smallness of yourself. Be sure to hear God on a particular matter and when you do, don’t look at yourself or what you have, rather, look up to Him to lead you through the task or assignment. *Word Feast* : Exodus 4 verses 1 – 14; 33 verses 12 – 19; Zechariah 4 verses 6 – 7. *Prayer* : Father, I will look up to You from today. I will not allow my inadequacies to stop me but I will trust You to help me in Jesus name, Amen. *Action Point* : Always look at the greatness of your God. *Drill* : Don't look at yourself, rather, look up to _________. *BIOY* : Numbers 6-7; Luke 12.
