FEBRUARY 26 Life Gems *WORK ON YOUR MENTALITY* *Spotlight* : Proverbs 23 verse 7 – For as he thinks in his heart, so is he. “Eat and drink!” he says to you, But his heart is not with you. Your mentality is just the way your mind is set over things. The way the mind sees things can remain unchanged over years until you consciously retune or readjust it. The mind can be exposed and influenced by experiences (both yours and that of others) books, ideas and the word of God. As a child of God, consciously allow your mentality to be influenced by the word of God. No matter how many years men have experienced a particular thing, you can tune your mind not to accept it or expect it. Cling to the word of God so that you can have a different experience. You are a beneficiary of any experience you believe. If you believe in negative experiences in life despite the scriptures you have been reading or hearing, negative experiences may become your lot even though you are born again. If you believe something that is not true, even if God is telling you something, if you are not careful, you can hold on to what you have believed about yourself or situation that seemed more convenient to believe than in what God is saying. As a child of God, please work on your mind. Discard beliefs that don’t align with God’s word for your good. *Word Feast* : Numbers 13 verses 21 – 33; 14 verses 1 – 24; Philippians 4 verse 8. *Prayer* : Lord, please help me to subject my mind to the word of God so that I will believe You completely in Jesus name, Amen. *Action Point* : Believe only what God has said concerning you. *Drill* : Discard beliefs that don't align with ____________. *BIOY* : Numbers 8-10; Luke 13.
