Answer: (Shaykh 'Uthaymīn) Manufactured eyelashes are not permissible because it resembles extensions, meaning hair extensions. And the Messenger of Allāh – peace and blessings are upon him – *cursed the one who puts in extensions and the one who has it done.* Therefore these lashes, if they are like what I picture now, that it is to place black thread resembling hair onto the lashes so that the lashes appear full and they beautify the eyes, if it is like this then this are the extensions that the one who does this is cursed by the Messenger of Allāh – peace and blessings are upon him –.
