ⓘ The Prohibition of Wearing False Hair (Attachments/ Hair Extensions/ Wigs/ Fake Lashes) Question: May Allāh reward you with good and bless you Shaykh, the questioner says, What is the ruling on using manufactured (false) eyelashes as a beautification for the husband? Answer: (Shaykh 'Uthaymīn) Manufactured eyelashes are not permissible because it resembles extensions, meaning hair extensions. And the Messenger of Allāh – peace and blessings are upon him – *cursed the one who puts in extensions and the one who has it done.* Therefore these lashes, if they are like what I picture now, that it is to place black thread resembling hair onto the lashes so that the lashes appear full and they beautify the eyes, if it is like this then this are the extensions that the one who does this is cursed by the Messenger of Allāh – peace and blessings are upon him –. ⓘ The Basics - Two Conditions For Worship To Be Accepted 🟩 What Is Worship? Al-ʿIbādah – worship – is a comprehensive term encompassing everything beloved and pleasing to Allāh, both actions and statements, whether visible or hidden. This is the best (definition) of worship. Worship is a great matter because Allāh created the creation, sent Messengers, and revealed the Books to instruct them to worship Him alone and prohibit them from worshipping others besides Him. ⓘ Wise Words From Ayyūb as-Sakhtiyānī (one of the Salaf [Predecessors]) ❎ Do not be deceived by the good character of a person of Bid'ah (Innovation) 💬 Allāh’s Messenger - ‏صلى الله عليه وسلم - said; ❝ I counsel you to *fear Allāh* and to *give absolute obedience* [in everything that is not disobedience to Allāh] even if a slave becomes your leader. Allāh, the Most High, said; قُلۡ إِنَّ ٱلۡخَـٰسِرِینَ ٱلَّذِینَ خَسِرُوۤا۟ أَنفُسَهُمۡ وَأَهۡلِیهِمۡ یَوۡمَ ٱلۡقِیَـٰمَةِۗ أَلَا ذَ ٰ⁠لِكَ هُوَ ٱلۡخُسۡرَانُ ٱلۡمُبِینُ Say (O Muhammad صلى الله عليه وسلم): The losers are those who will lose themselves and their families on the Day of Resurrection.
