The Mosquito Research and Control Unit (MRCU) is committed to the health and safety of both our team and the wider community. As part of this commitment, MRCU recently updated its Automated External Defibrillators (AEDs) and partnered with the Cayman Heart Foundation (CHF) to ensure staff are properly trained to use them in case of a cardiac emergency. Through hands-on training led by CHF, employees gained the confidence and skills needed to respond swiftly and effectively if someone experiences sudden cardiac arrest. Quick action can save lives, and we are proud that our team is now better prepared to step in should the need arise.
