LIAS Fellows Paula Bertúa and Bruno Moreschi invite you to join us for the Symposium „Performativity, Memory and Imagination of Technical Images“ comingWednesday! Expect a Panel Discussion and presentations by expert guests and a lecture, before the screening of Bruno‘s experimental film „Acapulco“. We want to discuss the externalization of memory and of imagination in the age of digitalisation, examining it‘s implications from historical, technical and conceptual approaches. For the Lecture „Technical Images as Tower of Babel: Six Memos“, Laura González Flores (National Autonomous University of Mexico) will take the oil Painting Tower of Babel (1563) by Pieter Bruegel the Elder as an allegory for technical images to reflect on todays notions of AI Imagery.
