The Government is prioritising the completion of ongoing infrastructural development projects in Nyeri County and across the Country and accelerate Kenya’s economic transformation agenda. 
Nyeri County has been allocated Ksh.17 billion in the next three years for construction of 12 roads covering a distance of 464 kilometres. 
Inspected the ongoing works on upgrading to bitumen standard and performance based routine maintenance of Endarasha-Charity- Gakanga- Embaringo- Kimunyuru- Junction D447-Mweiga- Mairo roads, Kieni Constituency, Nyeri County at a cost of Ksh. 2.3B. 
Construction of the 66.9km roads commenced in August 2019 and the projected completion date is August 2026.
