Prayer is the foundation of our faith, the very first act of worship made obligatory upon every prophet. It connects us to Allah, purifies the soul, and shields us from sin. Allah told Musa (peace be upon him ): "Worship Me and establish prayer for My remembrance." (Taha 13-14) The Prophet I said:O" The first matter a person will be judged on is prayer. If it is sound, the rest of his deeds will be sound. And it it is bad, the rest of his deeds will be bad." (Al-Tabarani, authenticated by Al-Albani) Neglecting prayer is not just missing an obligation — it leads to a hardened heart. The Prophet i compared prayer to a flowing river: "If a person had a stream outside his door and bathed in it five times a day, would any filth remain?" The companions replied, "No." He said, "That is like the five daily prayers; Allah wipes away sins through them."
