The African Seismological Commission (AFSC) is hosting its Fourth General Assembly, currently ongoing at Avani. Mines and Energy Executive Director Penda Ithindi in his address said, the 4th General Assembly is expected to focus on, among other topics, the seismological network of Namibia and review seismicity and earthquake events in several African countries.
