Vision Group appoints Dalgleish as new CEO Increase Gumbo MIRROR REPORTER CHIREDZI – Vision Group, the group of companies created to acquire the assets and business of Tongaat Hulett Limited in accordance with the BR Plan has appointed Gavin Dalgleish as the new Group Chief Executive Officer. Dalgleish’s appointment is with effect from April 1, 2025. He takes over from Rob Aitken who has been the interim CEO since March 2024. THZ Head of Corporate and Industrial Affairs Dr Dahlia Garwe confirmed the appointment in a statement. She however, said that the changes are not going to affect the company’s operations in Zimbabwe. “We are pleased to advise that the new shareholder for Tongaat Hulett, the Vision Group, this week announced the appointment of Gavin Dalgleish as Group Chief Executive Officer of Vision Group,” reads the communique. Tongaat Hulett Limited has full ownership of Triangle limited and 50% of Hippo Valley Estates. “Gavin joins the Vision Group from his most recent role as CEO of Illovo Sugar Africa. He will lead the stabilisation and turnaround of the sugar business as well as its strategic downstream diversification through the next exciting chapter of businesses long history.
