Redcliff US$25m budget approved PRISCA MANYIWA-MASUKU MIRROR REPORTER REDCLIFF – The Ministry of Local Government and Public Works has approved Redcliff Municipality’s US$25 million budget for the 2025 fiscal year.
Redcliff Mayor Vincent Shangwa Masiiwa confirmed the approval in an interview with The Mirror.
Masiiwa said the budget decreased from US$30 million in 2024.
“I can confirm that our budget was approved and no adjustments were made to our proposal so it remains US$25 337 144.96,” said Masiiwa.
Some of the major projects in the budget include construction of a water treatment plant as Redcliff relies on erratic water supply from Kwekwe City Council and boreholes dotted across the district.
