Dana Dixon, expressed "my heart goes out to the family of young Price Johnson, it is disturbing and heartbreaking to lose yet another youth to senseless violence. She could've been a future leader or advocate. While our Regional Guidance Team has been at the school offering support, and will continue to do so as long as necessary, we are also calling on all Jamaicans be more vigilant in protecting our nation's children." The Ministry of Education is committed to supporting the school family and is urging members of the public to come forward with any information that could assist in the arrest of the perpetrator who is said to be of unsound mind.
