SERVICE DISRUPTIONS DUE TO INDUSTRIAL ACTION AT JUTC The Jamaica Urban Transit Company Limited (JUTC) is advising the public that drivers at the Rockfort, Portmore and Spanish Town Depots, represented by the University and Allied Workers Union (UAWU) have withdrawn their service effective 4am today, February 18, 2025. In a press release issued today (Feb. 18), the JUTC noted that this action is in response to an incident involving two employees from the Union of Clerical, Administrative and Supervisory Employees bargaining group, which is currently under investigation. The withdrawal of service will result in disruptions on several routes. The JUTC has confirmed the implementation measures to minimise the the impact on commuters. Stay tuned for more updates.
