Friday — A Great Day with Allah Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah) said: Most of the immoral people respect Friday and it’s night (Thursday night). and they believe that whoever dares to commit sins in it, Allah hastens his punishment and does not delay it (does not give him respite). This is something that they (the immoral, non-practicing people) have established and learned from experience. This is due to the honor and great status of this day with Allah.
