Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah) said: One of the righteous women used to pray the night prayer a lot. She was asked about that, so she said: "Indeed, it (i.e., the night prayer) beautifies the face. And I would like my face to be beautified. 📖 [Rawdhat ul-Muhibbeen, 1/321]
Ibn al-Qayyim رحمه الله said: Giving al-ṣadaqah (ie: charity) on Fridays has a distinct advantage over the rest of the weekdays. Its superiority is similar to giving charity in the month of Ramaḍān in contrast to the rest of the months. [Zād al-Maʿād fī Hadyi Khayr al-ʿIbād 1/394]
Friday — A Great Day with Allah Imam Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah) said: Most of the immoral people respect Friday and it’s night (Thursday night). and they believe that whoever dares to commit sins in it, Allah hastens his punishment and does not delay it (does not give him respite). This is something that they (the immoral, non-practicing people) have established and learned from experience. This is due to the honor and great status of this day with Allah. [Zaad al-Ma'ad, 1/63, Ibn al-Qayyim (rahimahullah)]
