*DEPUTY VICE CHANCELLOR, ACADEMIC, INSPECTS FACILITIES AT OJO CAMPUS AHEAD OF 2024/2025 ACADEMIC SESSION EXAMINATIONS* On Friday, 21st February 2025, Professor Oseni Afisi, the Deputy Vice-Chancellor, Academic, conducted a thorough inspection of facilities at the Ojo campus of Lagos State University, in preparation for the upcoming 2024/2025 academic session examinations. Accompanying him were Chairman, Lagos State University Timetable Committee, Professor Adebukunola Atolagbe, along with senior staff members from the Deputy Vice-Chancellor's office. The inspection focused on various essential facilities, including classrooms, laboratories, furniture, lighting, fans, and the university store. Professor Afisi emphasised the importance of ensuring that all facilities are in optimal condition and ready for student use before the examinations begin. During the visit, Professor Afisi took the opportunity to engage with students from the Faculty of Science, Arts, and Social Sciences. He encouraged them to concentrate on their studies and prepare diligently for their examinations, which are scheduled to commence on *Monday, 3rd March 2025*. He also urged students to uphold academic integrity and reject any form of examination malpractice. In attendance during the inspection were key members of the university staff, including Deputy Registrar, Mr S. O. Asesanya, Chief Executive Officer, Mr S. A. Randle, both from the Deputy Vice-Chancellor's (Academics) office and Head, Electrical Units, Department of Works, Engineer Alfred Dairo.
