People often say pain makes you stronger. No, it does not. We read that the storm came and beat upon the house built on the rock and the house built on sand. If the purpose was to strengthen, then both houses should have been standing strong after the storm. Instead, the one built on sand collapsed. Storms in life do not come to make you strong; they come to test how strong your foundation in Christ is! Will your confession change when you've been fired from your job and you're facing eviction, or when a loved one has passed? Will you still be singing praises, or will you be having a nervous breakdown? Check yourself and be grounded in the Word. PROPHETIC DECLARATION I am like a house built on a rock.
