*Activity and Attitude* A key challenge that a lot of us face while grappling with the practice of spirituality is – where’s the time for it? In a schedule packed with work and family responsibilities, how can we fit in spirituality consistently? This perceived lack of time stems from the fact that we think of spirituality as an activity (or a set of activities), while work and responsibilities are ingrained into us as our attitude. What is needed is a role-reversal. You can do justice to your work only when you acknowledge the limited role it serves. On the other hand, spirituality is an attitude, a way of life. It is an outlook that connects everything you do to the highest purpose of life – knowing your own self. Activities like meditation, listening to inspiring talks, journaling, or spending time in nature can support this shift in perspective, but they aren’t spiritual in themselves. When your life becomes spiritual, everything you do becomes a spiritual act. Don’t practice spirituality with a workhorse attitude. Manage your work with a spiritual attitude.
