*FOUNTAIN OF KNOWLEDGE DAILY DEVOTIONALS* _(March 1st, 2025)_ *DAY 60* *TOPIC: NEVER LOSE HIS PRESENCE* _"Cast me not away from thy presence; and take not thy Holy Spirit from me. Restore unto me the joy of thy salvation. and uphold me with thy spirit"_ *(Ps. 51:11-12).* The worst thing that can happen to any man on earth is the loss of God's presence. No wonder David cried after that presence in desperation. "Cast me not away from thy presence, Oh Lord" (Ps. $1:11). Beloved, if you really want to know how it feels to lose God's presence, Samson is in a good position to answer that. Our divine constitution (The Bible) says, “He awoke out of his sleep and said I will go out as other times and shake myself, and he wits not that the Lord was departed from him" (Judges 16:20). The outcome was that he became a toy in the hands of the philistines and died in the midst of a battle. Every strength in life, be it financial, marital, ministerial, etc, is tied to the strength of God's presence around a person. It is possible to shout the same shout, speak the same tongue, execute the same method, and there will be no manifestation once His presence is gone. Beloved, you can lose anything you want to lose in life but never lose His presence. With His presence, anything you lose can be regained, but when His presence is lost, every other thing will be lost in rapid succession, as it happened to Samson. Obed-Edom the Gittite was an unknown person outside the presence of God, but when the ark of the covenant of the Lord appeared in his house, there was an automatic command of resources and flourishing that triggered the attention of the whole nation. In 2 Sam. 6:10-11, you see, when the presence of the Lord is on ground, endless prayer without result is eliminated. It is not possible to have His presence and not experience explosion. Blessings without prayer is the outcome of His presence because His presence is incompatible with lack or need. His presence is synonymous with blessings and abundance in every direction. His presence makes a person the envy of his or her generation. Three months of His presence produced in the house of Obed-Edom what a lifetime of effort could not produce.
