Reflecting on a Wonderful Opportunity in Singapore
Dear Colleagues, friends and seniors
I am deeply humbled and grateful for the recent opportunity to share my work on a novel nerve transfer technique for high median nerve palsy at the Combined Hand Summit in Singapore. It was a truly enriching experience to be among such esteemed colleagues from seven nations.
To have been invited as the sole Indian delegate to teach this technique was an immense honor, and I am profoundly thankful to the Singapore Hand Society and its organizing team for their generous invitation and flawless execution of the summit.
The highlight of the event was undoubtedly the collaborative spirit and the genuine interest shown by everyone present. I was particularly touched by the support and encouragement from my dear friend, Dr. Wee Lam, Editor-in-Chief of the Journal of Hand Surgery (European). His willingness to assist and learn the technique, and his kind words regarding its potential, were incredibly motivating.
It was a privilege to have the opportunity to teach this technique to senior hand and peripheral nerve surgeons from various countries. I hope that this small contribution can contribute to improving patient outcomes.
I am immensely thankful for this platform and look forward to further opportunities for collaboration and learning.
With sincere gratitude,
Terrence Jose Jerome
