Hadith on Praying Salah (Namaz) 5 Times a Day & Its Benefits 1. Salah is the Key to Paradise The Prophet Muhammad (ﷺ) said: "The first deed for which a person will be called to account on the Day of Judgment will be Salah. If it is found to be good, he will be safe and successful; but if it is incomplete, he will be unfortunate and a loser." (Sunan At-Tirmidhi, 413) --- 2. Five Daily Prayers Wash Away Sins The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Tell me, if there was a river at the door of one of you and he bathed in it five times a day, would any dirt remain on him?" They said, "No dirt would remain on him." The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "That is the example of the five daily prayers by which Allah removes sins." (Sahih al-Bukhari, 528 & Sahih Muslim, 667) --- 3. Salah is a Protection from Hellfire The Prophet (ﷺ) said: "Whoever prays before sunrise (Fajr) and before sunset (Asr) will not enter Hellfire." (Sahih Muslim, 634) --- 4. (Sunan At-Tirmidhi, 2621 & Sunan Ibn Majah, 1079) --- 5. Salah Brings Allah’s Help and Mercy Allah says in the Qur’an: "Seek help through patience and prayer; indeed, it is difficult except for the humble." (Surah Al-Baqarah 2:45) The Prophet (ﷺ) himself would turn to Salah whenever he faced difficulties. --- Benefits of Praying 5 Times a Day 1. Forgiveness of Sins – Small sins are wiped away. 2.
