Having many people use one vehicle, significantly reduces travel costs such as fuel.
*2. Peak Hours*
Avoid driving in peak hours to save you from waiting in traffic and also save fuel.
*3. Engine Speed*
Maintain proper engine speed: Proper engine tuning can lead to fuel savings of up to 30%.
*4. Vehicle A/C*
Use AC sparingly, the air conditioner puts extra load on the engine, forcing more fuel to be used.
5. Avoid overspeeding as it consumes more fuel.
6. Avoid overloading to eliminate unnecessary weight. The heavier your vehicle is, the more fuel it consumes.
7. *Avoid excessive idling:* If you stop the vehicle turn off the engine. An idling engine uses fuel whilst no distance is being covered.
8. *Use overdrive gears:* Driving in the highest gear possible without forcing the the enigne is a fuel-efficient way of driving.
