❗ *From March 2025, black bin collections will be changing for some residents.* If you live in a kerbside property, your black bins will be collected every two weeks instead of every week. If you live in a block of flats or anywhere that has a communal bin, your refuse bins will still be collected every week. Green bins and food waste bins will still be collected weekly, and brown bins for garden waste will continue to be collected every other week. For some residents, this change will start on the week beginning Monday 24 March, and for others it will be the week beginning Monday 31 March. We are sending information in the post to kerbside households in Waltham Forest to alert everyone to this schedule change, and to provide a guide for which items to place in which bins.
