Great time to understand whether you’re made for stock picking or not. If you’ve created your portfolio randomly based on various social media posts, you should realign yourself in mutual funds and focus on creating wealth. There is no harm in accepting that stock picking isn’t easy. I personally don’t pick stocks because I believe, and the record shows that a fund manager can do a better job for me for a small cost. My mutual fund portfolio has fallen less than markets, has cash to buy in the fall, and I’m adding more as well. It’s a win win.
