*The Betrayal of the Ottoman Empire: How Zionists Helped European Powers Destroy Their Own Protectors:* Throughout history, Jews faced persecution, massacres, and expulsion across Europe and Russia. From the Spanish Inquisition of 1492, when Jews were expelled from Spain, to the violent pogroms in Russia in the late 19th and early 20th centuries, European nations repeatedly targeted Jewish communities. But when the world turned against them, it was the Muslim Ottoman Empire that gave them shelter, protection, and a place to live in peace. Unlike Christian Europe, which saw Jews as outsiders, the Ottoman Empire welcomed them and allowed them to prosper in its lands. When Jews were expelled from Spain, Sultan Bayezid II of the Ottoman Empire opened his doors to them, offering them safety, religious freedom, and economic opportunities. Instead of facing execution or forced conversion, Jews found a home in Ottoman lands, where they built businesses, became advisors to sultans, and lived without the persecution they had suffered in Europe. The empire treated them with dignity when no one else would. For centuries, Jews lived under Muslim rule with rights and protections they never had in Christian lands. But how did they repay this kindness? Instead of standing with the Ottomans, many Zionist leaders aligned with Western colonial powers, who wanted to divide and destroy the Ottoman Empire for their own interests. During World War I, while the Ottoman Empire was struggling to defend itself, Zionist groups like the World Zionist Organization secretly allied with Britain to take control of Palestine. In 1917, Britain issued the Balfour Declaration, promising a "Jewish homeland" in Palestine—a land that was part of the Ottoman Empire and had been home to Arab Muslims and Christians for centuries. This was a betrayal of the worst kind. The same empire that had given Jews protection for centuries was now being torn apart, with Zionists helping their European masters in exchange for land that was never theirs. When the Ottomans lost World War I, the victorious European powers dismantled their empire. In 1920, at the San Remo Conference, Britain and France carved up Ottoman territories, with Britain taking control of Palestine. Zionists worked with British colonialists to establish Jewish settlements, displacing the native Palestinian population and laying the foundation for the state of Israel. The betrayal did not end there. During World War II, while the Nazis carried out the Holocaust, it was again European nations, not Muslims, who slaughtered millions of Jews. The Holocaust was a European crime, yet instead of demanding justice from Europe, Zionists used this tragedy to justify the takeover of Palestine. The Jews who had lived peacefully under Ottoman rule for centuries never faced a Holocaust under Muslim rule—Muslims had protected them. But in return, Zionists took Palestinian land, expelled its people, and erased their history. In 1948, the Zionist movement completed its betrayal by violently establishing Israel through massacres and forced expulsions. Over 750,000 Palestinians were driven from their homes in what is now called the Nakba, or "catastrophe." Villages were wiped out, and thousands of innocent people were killed. The same Jews who were saved by Muslims under the Ottomans had now turned against their protectors, aligning themselves with the very European powers that had oppressed them for centuries. History shows that the Ottoman Empire gave Jews protection when the world hated them, yet Zionists chose to betray their Muslim hosts in favor of the same Western powers that had persecuted them. They helped destroy the very empire that had saved them, and today, Israel continues this betrayal by oppressing the Palestinian people in the same way that Jews were once oppressed in Europe. This is the reality that the world must never forget.
