Ibn Taimiyyah رحمه الله: "Verily Mankind are of two types: The seeker of the Din and the seeker of the Dūnya. So Shaytan orders the seeker of the Din with Shirk and Bid'ah and orders the seeker of the Dūnya with physical desires." (Majmu' al-Fataawa 11/670)
