Sometimes, these sources seem promising, but in the end, they amount to nothing. In our text, God tells His people that the help of Egypt is worthless and empty. This suggests that, although they hoped and believed Egypt could solve their problems, they later realized it was futile. It brought no true relief—nothing worth relying on. Friend, understand this: If God cannot help you, no man can. Human help is always limited. Depend on God's help rather than man's, for man will not only disappoint you but may also tarnish your name in the end. From today, resolve to seek help from God alone.
