Date: *Wednesday, May 21, 2025* *Time With JOJOthePREACHER* Theme: *UNSTOPPABLE LOVE* Text: *Song of Songs 8:6 (ESV)* Set me as a seal upon your heart, as a seal upon your arm, for love is strong as death, jealousy is fierce as the grave. Its flashes are flashes of fire, the very flame of the Lord. *EXPOSITION* Love — true, covenant love — is described here as strong as death. Death is final, unrelenting, and inescapable, and so is genuine love. It binds and seals hearts in a way that refuses to let go. The “seal upon your heart and arm” speaks of intimacy and commitment, love that marks both the inward affections and the outward actions. Spiritually, this is a picture of God’s covenant love toward us fierce, consuming, and unwavering. His love is not casual; it is jealous, pure, and protective. It claims us fully, and once we are His, nothing can separate us from Him. Like death, His love demands everything but in return, it gives everything. God bless you *PRAYER* Thank You for loving me with a love that is strong, unshakable, and eternal. Teach me to receive Your love with reverence and to return it with faithfulness. If a man offered for love all the wealth of his house, he would be utterly despised. *EXPOSITION* True love cannot be extinguished. The greatest floods: trials, pressures, temptations cannot put it out. It burns with a divine flame. Human wealth, status, or effort cannot buy or replace it. This verse captures the indestructible and priceless nature of love, especially the kind that comes from God. God’s love for you is like this: it survives storms, it thrives in hardship, and it remains priceless. No external circumstance can put it out, and nothing you can offer would ever be enough to earn it. It’s a gift. Once it’s in your heart, it becomes a fire that fuels purpose, purity, and passion. This verse captures the heart of a life surrendered to Christ. When people see God’s work in you, their eyes turn to Him, not you. This is the call for every believer: to live in such a way that your story, your growth, your humility, and your obedience become a testimony that points others to God’s grace and power. You don’t have to be perfect, but you need to be yielded. A life touched by God speaks louder than words. Ask yourself: Is my life glorifying God? Would others see His hand at work in how I live, speak, and love? *PRAYER* Thank You LORD for saving and transforming me by Your grace. May my life be a testimony that brings glory to You. Date: *Thursday, May 22, 2025* *Time With JOJOthePREACHER* Theme: *ASCENDING TO TRANSFORMATION* Text: *Isaiah 2:3 (ESV)* Come, let us go up to the mountain of the Lord, to the house of the God of Jacob, that he may teach us his ways and that we may walk in his paths. *EXPOSITION* The mountain of the Lord represents a place of divine encounter, revelation, and transformation. In Isaiah’s vision, the nations are not being forced, but invited “Come, let us go…” This is a voluntary and joyful ascent to a place where God speaks and shapes lives. To “go up” means leaving behind the noise, pride, and distractions of the valley. It’s a climb: sometimes demanding but always rewarding. At the summit is the house of God, a place not of ritual only, but of instruction and transformation. There, we don’t just learn about God we are taught by Him directly, and as a result, we begin to walk in His ways. Today, the invitation remains open. The Lord is calling His people to rise in prayer, in consecration, in commitment to meet Him on higher ground. When we go up to His mountain, we come back changed. God bless you *PRAYER* Dear LORD, I hear Your call to ascend. Give me the strength and desire to rise above the distractions of this world and seek You earnestly. Repeated twice for emphasis, “You are beautiful” is not just a compliment, it’s a revelation of how he sees her. He highlights her eyes like doves, symbolizing purity, peace, and gentleness. Spiritually, this is how Christ looks upon His Church and upon you. In a world that often criticizes, compares, and condemns, Jesus calls you beautiful. He sees beyond your flaws and failures and looks upon you with redemptive love. His love doesn’t just cover your imperfections it transforms how you see yourself. When you look into His eyes, you begin to believe the truth: you are loved, cherished, and beautiful in His sight. God bless you *PRAYER* Thank You for loving me with such depth and tenderness. Help me to see myself through Your eyes not as the world sees me, but as You see me: beautiful, redeemed, and cherished. Date: *Friday, May 23, 2025* *Time With JOJOthePREACHER* Theme: *GUARDING THE TRUE GOSPEL* Text: *Galatians 1:8 (ESV)* But even if we or an angel from heaven should preach to you a gospel contrary to the one we preached to you, let him be accursed. *EXPOSITION* Apostle Paul makes a bold and sobering declaration: the gospel must not be tampered with, not even by an angel. This shows the seriousness of guarding the truth of the gospel. In a world full of mixed messages, spiritual trends, and appealing but distorted doctrines, believers must remain anchored in the original message of Christ: salvation by grace through faith. The theme here is Guarding the True Gospel. We are responsible not only to receive the truth but also to protect it. That means knowing the Word, testing every message we hear, and refusing to compromise even when the false message is packaged in charisma, popularity, or spiritual language. Ask yourself: Am I discerning enough to detect false gospels? Am I rooted enough in the truth to stand firm against error? *PRAYER* Oh Lord, help me to treasure, protect, and live by this true gospel. Give me discernment to recognize and reject anything that twists or dilutes the message of grace. Strengthen my heart to stand firm, even when false teachings sound convincing. Paul confirms that he was already eager to fulfill this request. This reveals that compassion and generosity are not optional in Christian ministry; they are central. Ministry is not only about preaching and teaching—it is also about reflecting Christ’s love through tangible acts of kindness. Remembering the poor is not merely about charity; it’s about embodying the justice, mercy, and generosity of the gospel. As believers, we must ask ourselves: Are we mindful of the needs around us? Do our actions reflect the compassion of Christ to the marginalized? *PRAYER* Lord Jesus, thank You for showing compassion to the poor and needy. Stir my heart to care for those who lack, and make me sensitive to the needs of others. Help me to live generously, joyfully sharing with those in need as an expression of Your love. Despite differing backgrounds and callings, the apostles; James, Peter (Cephas), and John recognized the grace of God upon Apostle Paul and Barnabas. Instead of competing or questioning their mission, they extended the "right hand of fellowship," symbolizing partnership and mutual respect. This shows us that true ministry thrives when we acknowledge God’s grace in others, even when their assignment looks different from ours. The Church becomes stronger when we work together in our distinct callings, affirming one another’s grace and encouraging each other in the work of the Kingdom. Let us not only seek to be recognized but also recognize the grace in others, honoring the diversity of God’s calling in the Body of Christ. *PRAYER* LORD, Teach me to recognize Your hand on others and to embrace their unique callings. The bride boldly declares a mutual possession “My beloved is mine, and I am his.” This speaks to the depth of covenant love where two lives are intertwined in full surrender and delight. Spiritually, it points us to the relationship between Christ and His Church. We belong to Him not by force, but by love. And in the same breath, He is ours not as a possession to control, but as a presence to cherish. Jesus is the Shepherd who grazes among the lilies gentle, attentive, and ever near. When we truly understand that we are His and He is ours, fear vanishes, insecurity fades, and joy is made full. *PRAYER* Thank You that I belong to You and that You belong to me. Her heart is overwhelmed not with sorrow, but with the intensity of love. She is lovesick, desiring both the presence and affection of her beloved. Spiritually, this speaks to the soul’s yearning for intimacy with Christ. There are times in our walk with God when His love stirs such a passion in us that we feel faint a holy hunger that no earthly thing can satisfy. The request for raisins and apples symbolizes the need for spiritual nourishment. Just as the body needs food, our spirit needs sustaining when overwhelmed with the weight of divine affection. When we deeply desire God, it is not a weakness but a sign of our soul coming alive. Let us not run from this longing, but turn it into prayer and pursuit.
