In our text for today, Apostle Paul informs the Roman Christians about the wages of sin, which is death. However, he also brings them an assuring message: the free gift of God is eternal life in Christ Jesus our Lord. Paul means that even though every sinner deserves death, Jesus Christ offers a whole new experience that transcends the physical—eternal life. He presents a life that has no end, the best substitute for the wages of sin. Friend, don't let sin and its wages destroy you. In Christ, there is eternal life—God’s free gift. You don’t have to pay anything to receive it. IT'S FREE!!!
