A Series of Reminders About The Month of Sha'bān - No.1 From The Virtue Of The Month If Sha'bān Is That The Prophet ﷺ Would Fast Most Of It Shaykh Muḥammad Ṣāliḥ al-'Uthaymīn رحمه الله said: "As for Sha'bān, then yes it is unique since the Prophet ﷺ would increase his fasting. Rather, he would fast most of this month.
