Do you know?? Among the children of Abū Lahab, five people accepted Islam: Three daughters: Durrah, Khalidah, and 'Azzah; all three were counted among the female companions (Ṣahābiyyāt). Two sons: Utbah and Muattib; both were counted among the male companions (Ṣahābah). May Allāh be pleased with all of them. And more surprising is that all of them recited the Ayah from the Qur'ān: "تَبَّتۡ. يَدَآ. أَبِي. لَهَبٖ. وَتَبَّ." “Perish the two hands of Abu Lahab, and perish he”(Surah Al-Masad 111:1) The meaning is that there is no tolerance or compromise in matters of faith and monotheism.
