As India strives towards realizing its vision of Viksit Bharat 2047, NSSTA remains at the forefront of skill upgradation for statistical personnel, ensuring the creation of a robust, transparent, and technologically advanced statistical ecosystem. Dr. Saurabh Garg, Secretary, MoSPI, highlighted: “Though this marks the 17th Foundation Day of NSSTA, capacity building through statistics in India has nearly a century-long legacy. Digitalization, e-governance, and the use of alternative data sources are transforming our statistical systems, and we are focused on enhancing the quality of our data. In the coming months, we plan to release PLFS data on a monthly basis, improving our data access and analysis capabilities.”
