https://www.facebook.com/share/p/1Ej479FkB8/ 06 February, 2024 *CID Law and Order in Plumtree on the hunt for MRP Party National Youth Leader* The life of the revolutionary party, MRP's youth leader Cde Mkhululi Jele is in danger following an obviously evil-driven visit to his place of residence by members of the CIDs yesterday 05 February at 15:40 hours. Cde Jele and the Party's security personnel revealed that a blood thirsty team of four CID members, 3 males and one female went to Jele's place of residence wanting him. Fortunately, the vibrant youth leader was not around at the time. They found one Mxolisi Dube whom they ordered to show them Jele's room. Dube complied. We are very sceptical about what they did in the room. This morning today the 06th of February four male and 0ne female members of the Plumtree CID Law and Order visited Cde Jele's home at 07:15 am. Cde Jele had already left the house. Cde Jele is being hunted in connection with the Phakamani High School incident. Last week, 28 January 2025, learners at the school could not put up with a Shona language promoting teacher, the implementer and ambassador of the 1979 Grand Plan, who, taking advantage of a nonsensical Heritage Studies lesson, told learners that Shona, was superior over all languages in Zimbabwe. Learners protested that there was no way Shona could be superior in Matabeleland. They demanded that Shona be restricted to Mashonaland so that Matabeleland local languages, Tjikalanga in particular, is accorded pre-eminence in the Plumtree area. Cde Jele had to confront the school head Nkululeko Vundla over the issue for the sake of the safety of learners. It was when Zimbabwe state security apparatus associated the uprising with the revolution that MRP is pushing, hence the target on party officials. As a party, we are observing and following closely every bit of development with regards this matter. We are watching so that nothing that is done to the heroes and heroines of Phakamani escapes our attention. We shall make sure that none of those who either participated in the protest or supported the protest in any way is victimised in any way. As the people's party, it is our duty to ensure that the rights of Phakamani learners to protest are respected. Our party officials are equally our concern. We shall make sure they are safe from the monster's claws. We know it well that it is in such circumstances that the enermy takes opportunity to justify murder. They are not searching for Mkhuli Jele in vain. They want blood. But we are watching and, never shall we sit back and watch. We are also warning Vundla and the likes of him to desist from aiding the enemy against our own people. As it is, the school is withholding the cell phone of Mathias Moyo, one of the protesters, arguing they will release it when the case has been dealt with. May we know, which case are they talking about? There is money sent to Mathias by his parents. He needs the phone to withdraw the money, but he can't as if he were a criminal. This is all because of Vundla who unashamedly buttresses enermy efforts to thwart Mthwakazi emancipation. We also know it well that the so called education officials who visited the school were instead, CIO officials. No education official has visited Phakamani in connection with the protest so far. This was confirmed by Mr Taungana Ndoro, the Ministry of Education Spokesperson through the Southern Eye of 04 February 2025. Ndoro said that the allegations are not in any way representative of the position of government, and that a team is yet to be sent to the school for investigations. Which education officials then, was Vundla talking sbout? Have state security people become education officers? We reiterate that learners of Phakamani should not be harassed over the protest. It was the teacher who is wrong not the learners. Even Mr Ndoro confirmed a known truth that there is no language, English included, which is compulsory in Zimbabwe. Why then, does the shameless misguided teacher want to misrepresent facts by lying to learners, creating a position for Shona language that it does not have? If ever it is superior, restrict the superiority to Mashonaland, not here. Shame on her and the like minded. The story will be told as it unfolds.
