Half term delaying me sharing this feedback with residents- last week 211 new cases came into my office, and this is a snapshot of five of them. As ever its not the sum total of the work we do but I share this to give residents an insight into what MPs do. As well as working on these cases - and those which take longer than a week to resolve- last week we also held meetings on a number of campaigns am working on including how to protect womens rights and secure investment into our local healthcare services, raised concerns about the impact of the changes to citizenship rights for refugees, the future of British Steel and called for a rethink on Rosebank oil fields, organised the Labour Movement for Europe AGM, helped in the Burnt Oak by election to get a Labour councillor elected and held my weekly residents advice surgery.
