TIDE'S OF LÛST EPISODE 73 and 74 After Sandra hung up on me, I wrapped my fingers around my phone tightly, and at that moment I felt like smashing it on the wall. Why will she drop the call on me? Initially I have the tendency of smashing whatever is within my reach if I get angry to this extent but it’s something I have learnt to control over time. I took a little time to be calm, before calling Sandra back. “Why did you have to drop the call on me?”........I yelled at her. “Is she gone?”.........she threw back, ignoring my question. “Why did you have to drop the call on me? Answer the fûcking question”..........I repeated, with a tone of rage. “Because I wanted to”.........she fired back. “You dropped the call on me because a friend of mine came, someone you know right from camp and not like we have something sinister going on”........I retorted. “Oh Please spare me that crap. You know as well as I do that she had something for you which I don’t think she has gotten over”..........She said mockingly. “Well just so that you know, I wouldn’t have dropped the call on you if reverse was to be the case. I wouldn’t react the way you are doing if it was to be you”.........I replied sarcastically. “Of course you wouldn’t say it out. you would rather prefer to give me the whole day or whole week silent attitude. Yes that’s what you would do”...........She sneered. “I think we are so done talking about this, you are beginning to get on my nerves”.........I replied, with a note of finality. “You called me to talk but you are running away now right? It’s okay, good bye”..........she muttered and dropped the call before I could. I dropped the phone and rolled over the bed burying my face into the pillow. I was like that when Pascaline came into my room. “Are you okay?”.........she asked sitting beside me. “Yeah, I’m good”.........I lied “Are you sure you are okay? I overhead your discussion with Sandra, are you both fighting again?”..........She asked worriedly. “It’s cool, just a minor issue. We will sort it out soon”..........I mumbled. She stopped asking any more question and then she went outside my room with her phone. I overheard her talking on the phone before I left for the bathroom. Few minutes after I was done bathing, Sandra called. At first, I wanted to ignore her call but decided against it on a second thought. “Yes?”.........I said nonchalantly as I picked the call. “Baby please I am sorry”..........she pleaded. “Don’t worry it’s fine”.........I replied nonchalantly. “I know it’s not, you are just trying to avoid this......I'm Sorry I allowed my anger to take control of me, I shouldn’t have. Pascaline just called me now and explained things to me, I am sorry”..........she pleaded. “I said it’s okay, so let it go already”.........I replied. She tried to get me to cheer up, but after trying unsuccessfully for a while, she gave up and we said the good nights. After the call ended, Vida came in with the toasted bread she made. I couldn’t eat it, because I already lost my appetite. I told Vida to reserve mine for the next morning. After Pascaline and Vida finished eating, Vida left for her room while Pascaline went to my bathroom. She changed to my boxer and polo top when she came out from the bathroom.
