This is the largest fossilized human turd, measuring 20 cm (8 in) long and 5 cm (2 in) wide, believed to have belonged to a sick Viking from the 9th century.
Known as the Lloyd's Bank coprolite, it contains large amounts of meat, pollen grains, cereal bran, and many eggs of intestinal parasites such as whipworm and maw-worm.
It is currently on display at the Jorvik Viking Centre in York 💩
