SHORT AND SHARP WITH DR SOLA ALIMI January 31, 2025. 10:16pm. AGGRESSORS, ORDER OF WATCHERS, AND GOD'S OWN DELIVERANCE. FROM the days of Moses, internal and external aggression was the common experience of the nation of Israel. Sometimes, it could be dissidents like Korah and his usurpers group or the Midianites in the days of Gideon. Another time, the throne got compromised by the likes of Ahab and his wife until God raised a Jehu to stop the madness of impunity and abuse of the throne. Judah, Samaria and other tribes of Israel were serially harrassed until God raised deliverance for his people. If power must change hands from the sons of Jeroboam and legitimate leadership be installed, the watchmen must be willing to act fast like Elijah on mount Carmel. They must be willing to return the rains of hope to secure the future for the next generation. At the moment, the sons of covenant MUST NOT be part of the exponents of fear and rumour mongering. Indeed, if God be for us, none can be against us. Let us begin to spread faith, courage and assurances of the imminent divine interruption to reset the structural configuration of this nation. The Lord is poised to reconcile all things to Himself by the power of the blood of His cross(Col 1:20). If we can humble ourselves and repent from our shortcomings, He will heal our lands and revoke the curses from repeated bloodshed. Again, Jesus' blood has been shed to secure the salvation of those sanctuary bandits, or the outer court insurgents, too. If Saul of Tarsus could be saved, the bandits, abductors and the murderous marauders could be saved! Anarchy is not the pattern of kingdom deliverance. The almighty can raise a Cyrus, a Jehu, a Jephthah or a David. Let's keep the fires in the altar. No more shall a dog raise its tongue to the seed of the Lion of the tribe of Judah. Deliverance of God's people belongs to him. Dr. Sola Alimi His Pen For comments: [email protected]
