It is not possible to fake knowledge because faking knowledge will reveal a greater dimension of foolishness, stupidity, and ignorance. Judas pretended to know Jesus, yet it became obvious that he never did. He miscalculated. If he knew Him, he wouldn't end his own life by suicide. To know Christ personally is to appropriate the redemption plan and be sure that you're accountable to Him by turning your back on sin, the world, and the devil. Being saved by grace is the lowest level of knowing Christ. To become like Him is the deepest level that requires intimate following in His steps.
