Duties & Responsibilities Key Responsibilities General Maintenance:Perform routine inspections of the building and surrounding areas to identify and address maintenance needs. Security Management:Oversee security measures to protect company property, personnel, and assets. Ensure security compliance and best practices are maintained. Plumbing:Maintain, repair, and install plumbing systems, including pipes, faucets, toilets, and water heaters. Respond promptly to plumbing emergencies such as leaks or blockages. Electrical:Troubleshoot, repair, and install electrical systems, including lighting, outlets, and circuit breakers. Ensure all electrical work complies with safety regulations and industry standards. Building/Construction:Conduct minor construction and remodeling projects. Assist in larger construction projects as needed. Safety and Compliance:Ensure compliance with building codes, safety regulations, and company policies. Identify potential hasards and take preventative measures. Record Keeping:Maintain detailed documentation of all maintenance and repair activities. Keep an inventory of tools, supplies, and replacement parts. Sekuriteitsbestuur:Hou toesig oor sekuriteitsmaatreëls om maatskappy-eiendomme, personeel en bates te beskerm. Verseker sekuriteitsnakoming en die toepassing van beste praktyke. Loodgieterswerk:Onderhou, herstel en installeer loodgieterstelsels, insluitend pype, krane, toilette en geisers. Reageer vinnig op loodgieter-noodgevalle soos lekkasies of verstopte dreine. Elektries:Diagnoseer, herstel en installeer elektriese stelsels, insluitend beligting, proppe en brekers. Verseker dat alle elektriese werk voldoen aan veiligheidsregulasies en industrie-standaarde. Bouwerk/Konstruksie:Voer kleiner konstruksie- en opknappingsprojekte uit. Bied ondersteuning aan groter konstruksieprojekte indien nodig. Veiligheid en Voldoening:Verseker nakoming van boukodes, veiligheidsregulasies en maatskappybeleide. Identifiseer moontlike gevare en neem voorkomende maatreëls. Rekordhouding:Handhaaf gedetailleerde dokumentasie van alle instandhouding en herstelaktiwiteite. Hou ‘n inventaris van gereedskap, voorraad en vervangingsonderdele. Skoonmaak & Eiendomsinstandhouding:Onderhou tuine, buiteareas en algemene netheid van die maatskappy se eiendomme. Desired Experience & Qualification Minimum Requirements High school diploma or equivalent required. Security and technical certifications and qualifications. Certification in plumbing or electrical work is preferred. OSHA or other safety training certifications are advantageous. Military/SAPS/Security background of at least 5 years. 5+ years of experience in building maintenance, construction, plumbing, and electrical work. Valid driver’s license and own transport. Knowledge of building codes, safety regulations, and industry best practices. Proficiency in MS Word, Excel, and PowerPoint. Must reside close to Pretoria West factory. Skills and Attributes Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting abilities. Strong planning, leadership, organisation, and control skills. Ability to read and interpret blueprints, schematics, and technical manuals. Proficiency with hand tools, power tools, and diagnostic equipment. Strong communication and organisational skills. Physical ability to perform tasks requiring lifting, climbing, and prolonged standing. Availability for on-call work and emergencies as needed. Highly motivated, energetic, and logical thinker. Sekuriteit- en tegniese sertifiserings en kwalifikasies. Sertifisering in loodgieters- of elektriese werk is voordelig. OSHA of ander veiligheidsopleiding sertifikate is ‘n voordeel. Militêre/SAPS/Sekuriteitsagtergrond van minstens 5 jaar. 5+ jaar ondervinding in gebou-instandhouding, konstruksie, loodgieterswerk en elektriese werk. Geldige bestuurslisensie en eie vervoer. Kennis van boukodes, veiligheidsregulasies en industrie beste praktyke. Vaardigheid in MS Word, Excel en PowerPoint. Moet naby Pretoria-Wes fabriek woon. Vaardighede en Eienskappe Uitstekende probleemoplossings- en foutopspoorvermoëns. Sterk beplanning-, leierskap-, organisasie- en beheer-vaardighede.
