*NABARD MABIF*, in association with *Tamil Nadu Corporation for Development of Women Ltd (TNCDW) and Directorate of Agribusiness Development, TNAU - Coimbatore,* has organized the *TNSRLM - Training, Skill Building and Incubation Program for SHG women entrepreneurs in Food Processing and Bakery Enterprises* under TANII (1st Phase).
The first spell of training was conducted from *24th - 28th February 2025 for the first batch of 25 women entrepreneurs* from southern districts at MABIF, AC&RI, Madurai.

Participants visited successful food-based entrepreneurs, including Thank You Bakery, Bharath Snacks, and Naveen Bakery, to gain practical insights.
The *valedictory ceremony was graced by Dr. E. Somasundaram, Director of DABD, TNAU-Coimbatore, Dr. P. P. Mahendran, Dean, AC&RI - Madurai and Er. Ganesh Moorthy K, CEO, MABIF* , who also presented FoSTaC certificates to the participants.
As food processing & bakery enterprises are emerging sectors, this training equipped SHG women entrepreneurs with knowledge of the latest technologies, legal compliance procedures, value addition, branding, and packaging—helping them build sustainable businesses in the industry.
