*Daily A Noble Thought - February 24* *Need and Stock* It is Love and Compassion by knowing the needs and desires of everyone that what is the deficiency, what is the surplus, help them and live accordingly. It is termed as Need and Stock (in Tamil வேண்டல் வளம்). Stock means what we have naturally. Need means the then-and-there requirements. Similarly, we should also know the Needs and Stocks of others. It is the life lead on knowing ‘Need and Stock’ & ‘Cause and Effect’, by helping using the stock, filling the needs. The meaning of ‘Need and Stock’ has lost it real sense now a days (in Tamil as வண்டவாளம்). If we know the ‘Needs and Stocks’ of our near and dear, if we happen to know, to that extent with my ‘Need and Stock’ what can I get from them, what can I do for them, you can learn to deal with Love and Compassion with all living beings. This way, once everyone’s love and compassion is instigated, and made to lead life accordingly, won’t there be a harmony with all living beings?
