✅UPDATE - N2 GRABOUW OPEN (10:30)
The debris has been removed from the N2 and the road has been reopened to traffic in both directions.
Motorists are advised that while traffic authorities will try to establish free flowing traffic again, motorists should be extra vigilant as there is still a possibility of stone throwing in the area.
Motorists are welcome to still make use of the following alternative routes, as an extra precaution:
- N2 (Botrivier bridge towards R44 Kleinmond via Clarence Drive
- N2 (Perigrine restaurant) R321 towards Villiersdorp and link up with R43 towards Caledon.
All law enforcement agencies are on the scene and high police visibility will remain in the area, until the situation has completely stabilised.
