No one will want to erect a building, wall or edifice and bigin from the roof or midway. The foundation is always the first step and the most important part of anything that is to be built. The sturdiness of a foundation will determine how solid the building will be. Any structure a man intend to build and he decides to start from anywhere other than the point of ensuring a solid foundation will definitely not see existence. And if the structure is built on a foundation that is not strong enough, it will definitely collapse. in the Gospel of our Lord, He did draw an illustration in a parable, when he talked about a house built on the Rock and the one on sand. The one on rock withstood great storm and flood while the latter came crashing at the slightest turbulence. This is the concept you must understand concerning Wisdom as the Word of God (the Bible) does teach. Every kind or idea that must be considered as Wisdom must have to be built on this foundation of the fear of the Lord. In other words or by this principle, just as any edifice that is built upon a weak foundation will collapse and the one on no foundation will never stand, so also any tact that isn’t built upon the reverential fear of the Lord will not amount to wisdom.
