Bandipur Wildlife Camp 2025 – A Journey to Remember As a wildlife photographer, every time I step into the forest, it feels like home. But this time, at Bandipur Tiger Reserve, it was even more special. On February 19th and 20th, I had the privilege of sharing this space with 38 passionate individuals who came together with one goal—to understand, experience, and cherish nature. From eighth-grade students to sixty-year-olds, from Indian Army officers to teachers, researchers, photographers, and artists, this camp was a beautiful blend of knowledge, curiosity, and passion. Despite our differences in age and profession, our hearts beat as one for the wild. I extend my deepest gratitude to Sri Eshwar Khandre (Hon’ble Minister for Forest, Ecology, and Environment), Sir S. Prabhakaran IFS (Director of Bandipur Tiger Reserve), and Sir Mahadev RFO (Bandipur Tiger Reserve, Karnataka Forest Department) for their leadership, support, and unwavering commitment to conservation. Your dedication makes a world of difference. I extend my heartfelt gratitude to Akhil Sajan (Senior Research Fellow, Botanical Survey of India), Ajmal TK (Head of the Journalism Department, Mambad College), Sayyid Rashid (Wildlife Photographer), and Ameen Ahsan Sir (Section Forest Officer) for their presence, insights, and shared experiences. Your contributions made this camp even more meaningful. To every single participant—thank you for bringing your energy, stories, and enthusiasm. You made this camp unforgettable. Let’s continue to explore, learn, and protect nature together. This camp wasn’t just about being in the forest—it was about becoming a part of it. And that, for me, is the greatest gift. Let’s keep the journey alive. 🌿🐾📷 VM SADIQUE ALI
