This week, we looked at generational trauma. Now that we know what we know, what do we do then?
1. The first step is *honesty with yourself*. Honesty with yourself starts by acknowledging the trauma, and what it has done to you.
The real work can only begin when you become honest with yourself and how much pain the trauma has caused you. When you acknowledge the pain then you will know what exactly you are dealing with.
*Identify patterns* that you saw in your parents, which are now happening to you. It can be patterns in your behavior, in your speech, in your emotions etc.
