*How do I train my mind to be positive, even when I am faced with so much negativity?* 1. *Always be aware*: Pay attention to your thoughts. Notice when you begin to have negative thoughts and ask yourself *is this thought helpful?* *Does it push me forward or hold me back?* 2. *Change the negative thoughts patterns* Consciously replace limiting thoughts and beliefs with positive ones. Instead of thinking. *"I can't do this"* try thinking, *"I will do this, and learn from it"* 3. *Feed your mind with positivity* A lot of us are on social media almost all day, consuming negativity, gossip, pornography, horror, negative news and all types of negative content which leads to toxicity. Choose to change the habit of what you consume. Pick up and uplifting book, listen to motivational content and engage only in meaningful conversations. The question is, what have you been consuming? Has it been building or destroying your mind? 4. *Practice gratitude daily* Intentionally start your day by listing at least 3 things you are grateful for. When you focus on being thankful, you limit your mind on thinking about what you do not have.
